View and remove image metadata
Detect image metadata blocks such as EXIF and XMP, then save a new PNG without copying source metadata. Individual GPS or camera tag values are not decoded.

How to use it
Shows the types and byte sizes of detected extra data blocks such as EXIF, XMP, comments and color profiles. Individual tag values such as camera model, capture date and GPS coordinates are not interpreted. No detected blocks does not mean there is no personal information. A new PNG is made from the displayed image without copying original metadata or trailing data.
The original stays unchanged. New PNGs may differ in size and color appearance. Visible text, faces and location clues in the image remain.
What the metadata report and cleaned PNG tell you
- Choose one JPG, PNG or WebP and run the tool. The report lists detected source blocks, such as EXIF or XMP, with their byte sizes.
- The report does not read camera names, capture dates or GPS values. An empty list is not proof that an image contains no personal information.
- Save the new PNG below the report. A JPG input also produces a PNG; your original file stays unchanged.
Check your result
For a JPG containing EXIF, the source report should list an EXIF block. Open the downloaded PNG in this tool again to check that the source EXIF was not copied. This check is not a certification that all hidden personal information has been removed.
Faces, street addresses and license plates visible in the photo remain. Rebuilding a PNG can change its size and color appearance, so inspect both the picture and the saved file before sharing.
