When to change image format
If an upload form accepts only JPG, PNG or WebP, select that output format and convert the image data. Renaming the file extension alone does not convert the file.
- Converting a transparent logo to JPG fills transparent areas with white. Choose PNG or WebP if transparency matters.
- Converting JPG to PNG cannot restore detail already lost through compression. Check the preview and final file size.
- The same format choice applies to every selected image. Download the results separately or as a ZIP.
