    What is being counted?

    The main count uses Unicode code points. Visible characters use grapheme clusters. Words are separated by whitespace; sentence counts are simple punctuation-based estimates.

    Does this validate platform limits?

    No. X weighted counts, GSM-7 SMS encoding and application-specific counting rules are not implemented. Search snippets also have no fixed 160-character limit. Check the actual destination field.

    Is my text sent anywhere?

    Calculations run in this browser. Reading speed is an adjustable example, not a measured reading average.
