Instructions and limits

Renders both pages at the same scale, aligned at the top left, and highlights pixel differences above the tolerance in pink. Visual comparison only: up to 72dpi and 1200px on the longest side. It does not check meaning, hidden content or exact file equality. Page shifts and font rendering may count as differences. The percentage describes comparison pixels, not document changes.

Your original stays unchanged. Open the saved file to review it.

Choose corresponding pages from two PDFs

  1. Choose two PDFs and enter the page number for each. You can compare page 2 of one file with page 3 of the other.
  2. Start with tolerance 24. Lower values detect smaller color differences; higher values ignore more subtle differences. At 0, any RGB difference is highlighted.
  3. Inspect both originals alongside the pink difference image. Save difference PNG downloads one comparison image; it does not produce an edited PDF.

Check your result

Using the same PDF and page on both sides should give 0 differing pixels. Another page, moved text or a moved shape may produce differences. The result does not count changed sentences or spelling mistakes.

The tool does not compare every page at once or align sentences automatically. Font rendering, page shifts and different page sizes can produce highlights; small text differences can disappear in the reduced rendering. Check the original documents for important decisions.
